Sexual Dysfunction
In couples therapy for sexual dysfunction, we work together to increase your understanding of your shared experiences as well as invidual sexual histories. A differential diagnosis evaluation is conducted for anxiety and related disorders which may interfere with sexual fulfillment. These other diagnoses may be the primary problem that is interfering with sexual functioning, so it is important to assess them as well. Sex therapy can be conducted as a phase of treating other disorders or be its own course of therapy. Following the assessment phase, a feedback session is conducted to learn about your diagnosis and develop a treatment plan collaboratively with you
